After introducing electric cars in November, now Luxgen again attracted media attention because it introduces a special edition LUXGEN7 LUXGEN7 SUV and MPV Sport + Elegance +. Both models will be exhibited at the Taipei Automobile & Accessories Exhibition 2011.
This special edition comes with new exterior and interior. Nevertheless, according to trend, the more highlighted is LUXGEN7 SUV Sport +. This version comes with a special exterior paint black and red. All the lights were darkened. SUVs are more sturdy with wheels and 20 inches plus four exhaust. The interior is also lined with soft leather black and red, including the steering wheel.
Cars with a length of 4.8 m, width 1.93 m and height 1.76 m is the largest in its segment. To encourages use 2.2-liter gasoline engine, turbocharger that produces power PS@6.000 175 rpm, and torque of 28 kgm @ 2.500 to 4000 rpm.
Engine torque transferred to the wheels through a 5-speed automatic transmission equipped with manual shift or operation that is named “Transmission Control Intellligent with 10 built-in Operation Modes” and operate with a 4×4 system.
For safety, the SUV is equipped with 6 airbags, ABS, Electronic Brake Force Distributiion (EBD), Brake Assist System (BAS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Track Control System (TSC) and Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS).
Furthermore, to help the working drivers, also installed “Eagle View +” 360 degrees to monitor around the car as far as 2 meters. Eagle View starts automatically when the car drove under 20 kpj.
Also the control panel called “Think +” that shows the atmosphere around the car and daspat used to help determine the distance when parking. Also there is “Think + Screen” is activated when the driver turns the light switch. The part that is included in “blid spot” will be aired.
Moreover, “Night Vision” can highlight up to 100 meters to the front with a width of 4 meters and Lane Daparture Warning System (LDWS) LDWS + active automatically when sliding at speed of 60 kpj. This last feature will tell the driver when sliding on the road dividing line (yellow).
